Martin Luther King March, 2003 Nashville, TN

Biko Casini and Matt Santana set the beat for the march, drumming for several hours straight and leading the crowd in various chants,

'One Love, One Hope, One People,One Destiny!'

It was great to mix it up with Nashville's African American community...
...and to celebrate the life of Martin Luther King, a peace maker for all people.
Nashville's Veterans for Peace chapter was formed in December of 2002.
Long time Farm friend Howard Switzer and wife Katy Culver are major leaders in Green Party of Tennessee.
Dr. William Meeker and his daughter, wife Judy (More Than Warmth) and Joel Kachinsky in back.
It has been great to see the middle Tennessee peace movement blossom and grow.
The march drew between 8 and 10,000 people, one of the largest ever in Nashville.
